Purpose.

A visual guide to a history of martyrdom from early Christianity to present subversives and the marginalized.  Or, a case against power and authority.  Or, the inspiration of suffering and death as empowering or destructive.

There are twenty-eight images with text presenting varying martyrs.  On this blog one or two will be posted a day until the entire content is up here.  The colophon and a brief summation of intent will follow.
